For the record: Country reports
We aim to ensure that all governments include education at the centre of their plans for economic recovery and that investments in education include teachers, not only school infrastructure. Our interactive maps tell the story so that teachers in every country can keep one another informed. Are you on the map? Tell us about the situation in your country, and we'll post it here.
Mapping the impact, seeking solutions
Is education in your country affected by the crisis? Our interactive maps show what’s happening in each country, and how teacher unions are responding.

Caribbean
To date Caribbean countries are not facing cuts in government expenditure on education. However the crisis is likely to halt progress on improving the education systems. Countries like Dominica and Jamaica need more teachers and better infrastructures to reduce class sizes and pupil-teacher ratio, and this is unlikely to materialise in the current climate.
